Myself, Amanda and Jackie went on a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords in June 2017. It was kind of a spur of the moment holiday, they all seemed to be. "I want to go on a cruise" " me too, where shall we go"..... "booked" "super".
We managed to book 2 outdoor cabins. The cruise company gave us a cabin on either side of the ship so we wouldn't miss any of the views.
When we docked at Stavanger we hurriedly wanted to explore. Jackie managed a walk of about 2 miles exploring this Norwegian town, thouroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for the pint of local lager Jackie at 9 Krone. Xx
Skjolden next where we woke up to the most beautiful scenery you could imagine. We did a coach trip where we saw the Jostedal glacier. We even saw tiny little people walking on the glacier (we were quite a way away from it).
We then stopped at Olden where we went on a little boat trip. Beautiful scenery again. Many many waterfalls where the snow was melting off the peaks.
We ate magnificent meals on the ship. Sampled tasty cinnamon pastries at the top of the highest point in the city of Bergen. Rode Bruce and Pearl the cable cars. Bought trolls. Saw amazing acts and dancers and singers. Drank wine and cocktails.
Thank you Jackie for some amazing memories. One of many occasions.
